In September I produce Odelia II, my first Morph and Texture for DAZ Victoria 4.2 and Poser 7. Between 2010 and 21014, I have doing products for Poser, at the release of DAZ DSTudio 4 and his new character, Genesis, I decided to stop Poser for DAZ Studio. Now, I work especially with Blender for the modeling, Adobe Photoshop CC and the Allegorithmic Suite for the texturing, DAZ Studio 4 with nVidia IRay for the rendering.
Occasionaly, I use ZBrush, Poser Pro 2014, the Quixel suite, Vue 9 and many other tools as Filter Forge, Unity 5 and Unreal Engine 4.
I've tried Daz3d a few times, but never got the hang of it, and don't get me started on the fact that you can't really make complex models from scratch with it, and, as far as i've found, importing custom models is very difficult, the shader/texture file/folder structure is just horendus. In my experience, all daz has been good for is character posing, and a free alternative to poser. I've also given Hexagon a try (I got a free copy with an issue of 3d world magazine), but to be honest, i prefer 3ds max.
